Movie Night & Discussion: "Louder Than A Bomb"

Riverviews Artspace and The Listening are coming together to present "Louder Than a Bomb". Join us for this special film screening on Friday, March 18th at 6pm. Admission is $5, and doors will open at 5:30pm. The Rosel H. Schewel Theater is located on the ground floor of Riverviews Artspace.

"Louder Than a Bomb" is a film about passion, competition, teamwork, and trust. It’s about the joy of being young, and the pain of growing up. It’s about speaking out, making noise, and finding your voice. It also just happens to be about poetry. Every year, more than six hundred teenagers from over sixty Chicago area schools gather for the world’s largest youth poetry slam, a competition known as “Louder Than a Bomb”.

Following the movie will be a brief discussion, diving into some of the themes of the film, moderated by Leslie King.
