BATTLE SYMPHONY: PEER SUPPORT GROUP

PROGRAM MISSION

to help people ages 18+ battling depression, suicidal ideation, and anxiety develop their own coping skills and tools using storytelling, song-writing and poetry

According to NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness), a peer support group is defined as “a voluntary gathering of people with similar challenges to share experiences and coping strategies and offer understanding”. Our goal is to discover the power of art and community as a resource for mental health.
