PROGRAM MISSION
to provide a venue for artists 18+ and members of the community to engage through performing and listening.
We regularly host events in Central Virginia that reach out into the local community. While we may be best known for our open mic sessions we hold many different types of gatherings that fit with our mission and vision. These open mic sessions are open to 18+, and focus on three tentpoles of impact: The Art - The Artist - The Community. Attendees are encouraged to engage, either through performing or other opportunities presented at each open mic.
What Open Mic Themes Would You Like to See?
As we continue to engage the community around us, we take a careful approach to setting the stage. Each open mic session we have comes with a theme, usually inspired by an artist, song or creative project. These themes impact us as pieces of art, as artists, and as a community. We want to hear from you - add your own suggestions below, with a few sentences about what is compelling about that particular theme. We can’t wait to hear what you come up with!
