“All we ever needed was a room”
The intense need to be heard is the reason why we create. There may have been a time in place when others did not give room or space to experience our point of view- through art, noise, grunts, beats, and lyricism.
At one point in time, they never had a reason to care. In response, we created room for humanity to live and breathe, relentlessly and creatively.

Our Signature Sessions are the active pilot of our new era. The Listening, Inc, has gone through a great transition over the last year, and at times we only waded. From leadership to programming, inside and out, we have now seen why the last 10 years were necessary. We are still rooted in what we know- arts advocacy, arts for more than entertainment- the deep wells of arts healing culture. However, we have expanded the WHO and HOW, and sometimes, it has given way to rocky travel.

The night of August 26th was revolutionary. We stumbled upon a new crack in the dimension of the journey, and we came together, as artists and writers. Many creatives who have resided in the same area, have finally come together to create and celebrate the art they make. What a time to be alive.
TLI gives way for arts to drive humanity forward through conversation and melody. Our artists for the late summer session were all local heavy hitters, who were also identified as authors, coffee brand owners, event curators, and voices. They inspire others to create for a purpose
What we may have not said 10 years ago, we may now speak on the forefront. Evolving ears trigger evolution in humanity. So come on down and discover who you are, while we build who we are becoming.
