Welcoming Two New Board Members!

We would like to announce our newest board members and celebrate the other distinguished women of The Listening Inc!

In support of community expansion and program development, newly added board members Keesha Henderson and Keaira Reese have joined The Listening in their endeavor in supporting the local community.  Since joining they have already stepped up as leaders on the board and taken initiative to have a sure impact in the community based on their local positions.

Keesha Henderson, our new Co-Chair of The Listening Board is the current Chief Diversity Officer at Randolph College. In her experience she has sat on various boards that push for community outreach and programming. With her background in developing sustainable nonprofits, her knowledge supersedes the expectations of what it means to be a team player and leader on our board. Since joining she has shown how her skills are beneficial to the progression of The Listening and the community they serve.

Keaira Reese, our new Secretary of The Listening Board, is a local middle school teacher for 8th grade English at Linkhorne Middle School. She joined the team to advocate for young writers in the area to ensure that young voices have a place to speak their truth. Not only that her tenacity, enthusiasm, and creativity has truly changed the atmosphere and direction of the board.
