I really dislike popcorn because it gets stuck in my teeth.

What were you like in middle/high school?

I was voted “Most Musical” and spent all my time practicing for auditions or socialising. I got good grades so my mom didn’t mind.

What is one social justice/action issue that you are passionate about? Why?

Rights of Undocumented Individuals - Most of my family has struggled to obtain Temporary Protected Status or their Citizenship. There is so much about the process that people are not knowledgeable about and more people should be educated.

In 2020, we had to suspend our program. What makes you excited about returning or joining the team this year?

I love seeing people, especially if they are my students! I thrive on social interactions and can’t wait to make my class the most lit.

If you had a room full of people willing to listen to you, what would you say?

I would tell them how important and loved they all are.
